More Operators Getting Approved
NorthStar Bets Sportsbook The latest addition, now the 29th entry on the AGCO registry, joins others like TWHG Inc., which represents multiple brands. Operators who register with AGCO must sign an Operator Agreement with iGaming Ontario to operate legally within the province.
Established by the province in 2021, iGaming Ontario oversees the regulation and management of online gaming conducted by private operators. Currently, there are 13 approved operators listed on the iGaming Ontario website.
This week ElectraWorks became part of the approved list, with its brands including Bwin.ca, Partypoker.ca, Partycasino.ca, and Partysports.ca. Burns anticipates the addition of more names to the roster shortly.
This surge in interest during events like ICE London underscores why Ontario is attracting so much attention, Burns remarked.
"It’s not merely about immediate success on Day 1 or even after six months. The goal is sustained success over a long term,\" he added.
