On Monday, the Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation announced that its PROLINE platform has become the inaugural official sportsbook partner of the NFL in Canada, marking a significant milestone for OLG.

Dave Pridmore, OLG’s chief digital and strategy officer, shared with deereplanet.com last week that the sportsbook was preparing for an exciting line-up for this Sunday's Super Bowl clash between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals. This was confirmed on Monday.

April 4 is officially designated as the commencement date for a fully regulated sports betting industry in Ontario. Currently, PROLINE stands as the exclusive platform for placing legal bets on single events in the province.

It was announced last week that OLG has received approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to proceed with sports betting operations.
